30 Minutes in the Life: May 2017

Over the last months the cost of our move and the challenges of freelancing have meant that days off have been far too rare. Ville and I both turned 44 this month and worked through our birthdays, but a few days later we decided to skip everything and head to London for a visit to Tate Modern. It was so revitalising to get some time and sunshine. We definitely need more of this sort of thing (and at the same time are so grateful for the work that keeps us all going). And summer is on it’s way…

Liz Godfrey has produced the loveliest set of portraits of her incredibly expressive daughter for her 30 mins. I love how this project keeps us documenting.

  1. These are great Julia. I loved seeing London again – it was so long ago that we were there. I love that you got in the images and those two of you in the shadows are stunning. I love the light and shadow contrast of these images. Thank you for sharing a little bit of your adventure.

  2. Julia – I absolutely love these! What a wonderful day out you had with your husband. Agree, I too need to have more days such as this. I especially love the photos of you dancing in the shadows and the ones with various reflections. Also, just loved seeing little bits of London, I do miss it very much. All the best and looking forward to seeing what you capture next month.
