A Haircut and a Pop Up

This weekend contained some great things. The first was that Anton agreed to have a haircut (the only bribe was that I had to do six ‘Just Dance’ songs with him before we left!) We all sat in the tiny barbers two minutes from our apartment and encouraged him through the ordeal. I love being able to see him better.

The second great thing is that after a lot of (slightly desperate) hope I found out that I was one of the twelve people selected to do a five day workshop with Arja Hyytiainen at Salt Galata from May the 16th.  Applying for this workshop had completely preoccupied me over the last month and I apologise to my family for how horrible I was while waiting for the answer. Now the terror about actually doing the thing can begin!

Then, best of all, I had a second pop up exhibition in my apartment with two friends of mine. It was such a pleasure to get some work up on the walls and then spend five hours chatting to all the lovely people who popped in. Thank you!
